We read books every day with our kids but sometimes they want us to read the same book over and over again. It’s kind of like when you have your favorite song on your iPod or CD player and you listen to it all day long every day.
Your kids want you to read their favorite books all day long too! So here are some of the reasons why kids want you to read the same book over and over again:
1.) They Want You To Read Their Favorite Book
Some kids love the same book over and over again because they want you to read it with them. They will ask you to read it over and over again. Some kids also want you to read the same book, so they can show off their reading skills. I’m not sure how many of these reasons I agree with, but they are all valid reasons for your child to want you to read the same book over and over again!
2.) They Want You To Read The Same Book Over and Over Again
Some kids really love the same book so much that they’ll beg their parents to read it all day long every day. You can’t tell me that your child doesn’t love this particular book if he or she wants his or her parents to read it all day long every day!
And don’t think that this is only a request from a kid who loves that particular book; sometimes children who don’t like a particular book will ask their parents to read it over and over again, so they can show off their reading skills.
3.) They Like How Much You Enjoy Reading With Them
When your child likes what you’re reading, he or she will enjoy it more too! Kids want their parents to enjoy reading with them, so they can get interested in books too!
Kids also want their parents to enjoy reading with them because then they know that their parents like what they’re reading too! When your child sees that you enjoy reading with him or her, he or she will start enjoying books more.
And don’t think that this only applies to books your child likes. Kids who don’t like a particular book will ask their parents to read it over and over again, so they can show off their reading skills.
4.) They Want You To Read With Them
This is the most important reason why kids want you to read the same book over and over again. When your child loves a particular book, he or she will want you to read it with him or her all day long every day!
I know some parents who won’t let their kids read the same book over and over again because they think their kids are reading too much or because they don’t like it. The truth is, most kids who love to read will read the same book over and over again. You don’t have to like every book your child reads, but you do have to show that you like it.
